The CosmicfooI is correct in their scathing descriptions of Peny North's
post-Tradevest behavior, as so many have chimed-in and confirmed quite independently.
When I called her social hyper-control "cult like" - I was one of he first
targets of her domination, on the old Lazaris Compuserve Forum.
However, that was Peny North after the Tradevest debacle.
Tradevest was one of many attempts Peny made to help bring those of us in
her local social circle "up" financially, as she had experienced such phenomenal success with her art galleries
and with income from Lazaris' growing public work.
When Tradevest fell apart due to corruption at the top of it's corporate
structure, Peny changed.
She and Michaell changed their last names from Prestini to North, they
moved from here in Marin to Los Angeles (and eventually Florida) and then, quite unfortunately, swung very far right
politically.
As Lazaris has said, guilt left un-addressed will turn to resentment.
This, of course, is the spiritual toxin at the root of extreme far right conservative philosophy: a complete "global
social fabric" disconnect, to deny and cut-off any possible social responsibility.
That said, do get to know the Peny that Bobbi and I knew before the
Tradevest debacle.
You can do this at no-charge by listening to a free copy of a wonderful
"Evening With Lazaris and Peny" that Bobbi and I attended in April of 1996, just after the Earth Power day-long workshop
held in Marin County.
At the very end of the incredible two hour dialog between Peny, Lazaris
and those of us asking questions in the audience; Peny said that the recording of the evening would be made available
for $5.00 and that those of us who bought it could make copies and give them away for free.

Peny was a wonderfully giving, generous friend and new age consumer action
behind-the-scenes cohort to me before she deteriorated, so tragically.
The fact that her whole lifetime and Lazaris' testament as to her level
of ability as an metaphysical teacher is daily dragged through the mud on the CosmicfooI, is just very sad and wrong.
It is a "half truth".
Always remember that before Tradevest's debacle, Peny was every bit as powerful
and loving as you will hear in the April 1986 Evening With Peny and Lazaris.
Remember Peny as she once was - behaviorally: strong, howling barrels
of fun(!) - with far more "liberal" care and compassion, than most who reach her particular level of income.
